You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:
- Create new pages and rename pages
- Edit semi-protected pages
- Upload images
- Have your own watchlist, which shows when articles you are interested in have changed
If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (50.49.4.15) is used to identify you instead.
I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).
Happy editing! JesseRafe (talk) 16:51, 30 October 2017 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Binksternet. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Juelz Santana, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please do not add or change content, as you did at Common (rapper), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 18:04, 27 November 2017 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Kings of the Wild Frontier, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 18:06, 27 November 2017 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Morrie (musician). Jim1138 (talk) 04:45, 21 December 2017 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Boomer Vial. Your recent edit to the page Jackie Martling appears to have added incorrect information, so it has been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Boomer VialBe ready to fight the horde! • Contribs 09:40, 3 January 2018 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Kyo (musician) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Kyo (musician).
Since expiration of your block, you also seem to have made unsourced genre changes at Wyse (band) and Shook Ones (Part II) and an unsourced change of active years for Kenji Roa, Masato Kitano, Eamonn Walker, David Zayas, Blaque, Bryce Wilson, Whodini, and UTFO (as well as Kyo (musician)). That is not appropriate behaviour.

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you change genres in pages without discussion or sources, as you did at Boiler (song). Binksternet (talk) 06:07, 1 August 2018 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
