Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Bennett Arron, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Social engineering (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your edits to Tosser[edit]

Hi. Per WP:DABNOT, disambiguation pages are not for dictionary definitions, partial title matches, related subjects, abbreviations and acronyms. They are only for listing articles about subjects with the same name. Therefore, your addition was not appropriate. Regards,  Sandstein  06:50, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sydney 2012 Flood.jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on File:Sydney 2012 Flood.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 15:11, 7 May 2012 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Gnab Gib[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Gnab Gib has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I'm sure the question of whether the universe is expanding or not has been perplexing physicists since long before April 2012. I also seem to remember that Gnab Gib was the punchline from a joke in a Douglas Adams book from the early 80s, and not actually something invented by Brian Schmidt.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Re: Unreliable source on About.com[edit]

Uhh, All Things Digital is a site published by The Wall Street Journal. How can that not be a reliable source? ViperSnake151  Talk  04:27, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Azuki bean may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
