Hello,

I wanted to know the meaning explained in Wikipedia foe روابي Rawabi which means Mounds in English and I found unexpected unrelated results to the exact meaning of Rawabi.

I suggest to start with the meaning of Rawabi first then we can give examples to places named Rawabi. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bandarsq (talkcontribs)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Rawabi Holding, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.rawabiholding.com.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rawabi Holding, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 18:34, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Rawabi holding requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your rplies. I'm more than glad to explain the meaning of Rawabi. The word Rawabi is not associated with anything. It means Mounds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mound . Rawabi word comes from the verb Raba ربا which means to grow and to get bigger or piled up. Rawabi روابي is plural word for Rabiah رابية. The words Rawabi and Rabiah are used as female names and also things as streets, towns, buildings, resturands, companies, etc.

I work for Rawabi Holding group of companies as a corporate communication officer and I'm assigned to list Rawabi Holding in Wikipedia. RH is very well know in Saudi which is owned by Shaikh Abdulaziz Ali AlTurki, a very well know figure in KSA. His brother Shaikh Abdulrahman AlTurki also owns his group of companies which are listed in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A._A._Turki_Group .

Kindly advice of how we can be part of your well respected world.

Hi! It looks as if you have not understood the warnings on your talk page. At Wikipedia, we all agree, under the conflct of interest guidelines, to avoid writing about our own businesses- because you are an employee of the company, you are not the right person to write an article about it. Wikipedia is simply an encyclopedia, not a place where you can place your advertisement. Don't worry- if your company is truly notable, it is inevitable that people outside the company will read about it in magazines and newspapers and write about it. If you are interested in helping to write the encyclopedia, you should choose articles that you are interested in, but not personally or financially involved with, to improve. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:02, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, I'm just trying to be one of many http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Companies_of_Saudi_Arabia . Our attention not to introduce our service and products nor to advertise but to be a member. Kindly let me know if I just need to give up. --Bandarsq (talk) 23:25, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Because you are an employee of the company, you should not write about the company. If the company is notable, others will write about it. You should instead write about subjects that you are not directly connected with- a person who can read Arabic would be very helpful at English Wikipedia for many subjects whose best sources are written in Arabic, so I hope you are interested in continuing at Wikipedia. If you're interested, you might find useful information at Wikipedia:WikiProject Arab world. Their talk page has some interesting problems that need help right now. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 23:29, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
