You're welcome! Oh, by the way, Ubol Ratana Dam‎ is not on the Mekong River. I live about 60 minutes away from Ubol Ratana Dam‎ - the Mekong is 60 minutes in the opposite direction. Try Nam Pong River instead :) --Kudpung (talk) 04:26, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so - not in the categories, but you can certainly mention it in the Mee Kong and Ubon Rat articles. However, check first that the Mee Mam Pong is definitely a tributary of the Mee Nam Kong. --Kudpung (talk) 04:58, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, CUỘI and welcome. I noticed some of your edits to Mekong dams and the creation of: Template:Dams on Mekong River Basin. I made some edits to the template to indicate the dams are "in the" basin as opposed to on it. Regarding Category:Dams on Mekong River, I think it should be renamed to Category:Dams in the Mekong River Basin which will solve your problem I read above. You can have dams on tributaries in that category as well. To make an expansion of articles and other tools relating to Mekong dams, I think we should rename Mekong River Basin Hydropower to List of dams in the Mekong River Basin. It would make everything uniform and easy to navigate, see WP:CLN.

Another user, User:Rechmaduong, recently started a lot of Mekong dam articles and the Mekong River Basin Hydropower article and I know there is interest in the area. I see you have taken interest in dams and Wikiproject Dams as well. I regularly edit dam articles of all types and locations so if you have any questions, please let me know.
