"Intrinsically chronological articles"

Although my AWB has also removed many links according to WP:OVERLINK, I disagree with most of this edit. WP:Manual of Style (linking)#Month-day linking says: "Intrinsically chronological articles (1789, January, and 1940s) may themselves contain linked chronological items." November 1910 clearly fits that description. A person would be unlikely to want to read the November article just because a battle happened in November; but if for some reason a person has already chosen to look at the November 1910 article, then for the same reason, he may also be interested in articles like November, 1910, and November 5. Vietnamese districts

Whatever you change in the body text, please don't alter the spelling of a Vietnamese province's name in the category link or the stub template arbitrarily (such as changing Category:Districts of Thua Thien-Hue Province to Category:Districts of Thừa Thiên-Huế Province); they're fixed links that don't work properly if you don't apply them exactly as they're actually spelled. You always have the option of going to WP:CFD and WP:SFD to propose renaming them to the correctly-accented Vietnamese spellings — but until you've actually done so you need to leave the links as they are, because an article is not allowed to sit around with categories and templates on it that don't already exist. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 04:45, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

I have partially reverted your automated edit to Stroud, Gloucestershire as you inappropriately delinked London. Please be more careful in future when using AWB. Jeni (talk) 23:22, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

AWB edit broke an image link

I've recently been going through some pages which have redlinked images on them, and some of them are errors (rather than image deletions). One of them, I tracked down to an AWB edit you made here. Compare the version here with the page after your edit. Do you think you might have made other errors like that, and would you be able to help track down any that weren't found at the time? I'm going to go through the pages listed here and see if I can spot any more of those. Also, is it possible to tell AWB to avoid "fixing" images this way? Carcharoth (talk) 17:52, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

OK. Thanks. The list is rather long, so if you think it was a rare error, not to worry. I'll let you know if I find any more. Carcharoth (talk) 18:22, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Vietnamese diacritics

Hey, I've cleaned up the "In a nutshell" section in the diacritics discussion. When you get the chance, please indicate your support or opposition to each consensus point to allow us to determine which points have the most support. I've also added a note to the effect that, for now, these points do not constitute a formal proposal, but just indicate where we're at in our discussion. --dragfyre_ʞןɐʇc 14:28, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Thanks!

I've noticed from time to time that you do a lot of very helpful proofreading and link fixing throughout the encyclopedia. Thanks for all the great work. -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:58, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
