Manual of style[edit]
Although I welcome and want to encourage your participation as an editor, you have not learned WP:MOS, and consequently, there are numerous formatting errors in your edit on Broad-tailed hummingbird. Reference formatting is WP:CIT (where references should be cited in-line with the text to make it easier for users to click for the source) and punctuation formatting is WP:REFPUNCT (where the punctuation goes first, then the source). Please go back and correct these entries, as it will help you learn formatting for Wikipedia consistency and guidelines. You can ask questions here on your Talk page, and I'll try to help. --Zefr (talk) 16:52, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- I fixed your formatting errors. Please practice first in your sandbox and be more careful to prevent creating work for other editors. --Zefr (talk) 00:06, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
October 2018[edit]
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Broad-tailed hummingbird, you may be blocked from editing. Please don't edit war, WP:WAR. Extensive copyediting had been done to correct your sloppy edit. Practice WP:MOS methods in your sandbox first. Zefr (talk) 03:16, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
