topic on Elder Scrolls 4[edit]

Hey, is it ok with you if I go ahead and nominate a topic on ES4? Nergaal (talk) 15:41, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, that's why I asked you. I stumped on the topic being close to complete and I was wondering if you are still working on it. If not, I was going to submit/co-nom it with ou as the main contribuitor. It would need to include the two expansions too, which means getting the second one up to GA. Nergaal (talk) 16:05, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Featured topic candidates/The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion/archive1 you might probably want to reformat the nomination. Nergaal (talk) 01:31, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Panegyrici Latini, fact tags[edit]

Heya, sorry for being so harsh. :) I somehow didn't notice that the edit before mine was only a bot adding the date to the tags, but thought it was someone inserting the tags for the first time. Also, the second tag was not really needed, I think, as it could be seen from the table above anyway. Regarding the first tag, I incorrectly recalled that Nixon/Rodgers had written this in the reference given half a sentence later; after you reverted, I checked and saw that that was not the case. So I basically thought that someone had asked for a citation though it was provided in the next footnote, and for a fact which could be seen by reading the article.

I apologize for my words. :)

I am fairly sure that I *have* read that assumption (that speeches 2 to 4 were added c. 400) somewhere (Galletier or Pichon, maybe) - I'll check at the weekend when I have better access to my texts. It is, in a certain way, the logical conclusion if one credits Pacatus with assembling the corpus, so it might be better to remove the date anyway, as Pacatus' role is speculation in itself. I've reviewed the article and left notes on the talk page. I've put the nomination on hold for seven days to allow the issues to be addressed. Feel free to contact me on my talk page, here, or on the article talk page with any concerns, and let me know one of those places when the issues have been addressed. If I may suggest that you strike out, check mark, or otherwise mark the items I've detailed, that will make it possible for me to see what's been addressed, and you can keep track of what's been done and what still needs to be worked on. (Just a note, I figured you're planning on FAC, so I tried to keep an eye on that status in the GA reveiw, so it might be a bit "harder" than a more normal GA review. Let me know if I guessed wrong on your plans.) Ealdgyth - Talk 05:23, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

template[edit]

Mmmm.. nice shiny new template. Thanks! Haploidavey (talk) 02:29, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a two-in-one response: thanks for the appreciations and I just noticed you helped Diocletian to FA. He'd have been proud. Haploidavey (talk) 02:37, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for those fixes - it looks so much better for your attentions - you deserve a speeding ticket at the very least. I was reading your comments and just couldn't keep up. Haploidavey (talk) 03:25, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And you were right about that Codex ref - it's a source error. So don't you dare under-rate your knowledge! Haploidavey (talk) 03:36, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Re: queried Codex? ref. The date error is definitely mine. My own hand-written note from my now forgotten source gives Valentinian's threat of fining as 365. Well, that teaches me a lesson or three. Haploidavey (talk) 12:49, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
And I'm really enjoying the good humour of your approach to editing! Haploidavey (talk) 13:30, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have done a GA Reassessment of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion as part of the GA Sweeps project. I have found the article to have several dead links in the reference section and as such I have placed it on hold pending fixes. I am notifying you as the primary editor of this. It is certainly a GA (actually A class) article but I must see these references fixed before I can keep it at GA. If you have any questions you can contact me on my talk page. My review is here. H1nkles (talk) 22:06, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, no problem, seemed like an easy enough problem to fix to keep it as a GA. --PresN 21:22, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
