I have nominated Whatcom Volunteer Center, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Whatcom Volunteer Center. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Kittensandrainbows (talk) 03:13, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have relisted the above AfD as references were added to the article within the last day. I am contacting all editors who have commented at the discussion, to allow them the opportunity to look at the latest version of the article, and if necessary to change their !vote.

I have no opinion on the matter, I am merely letting everyone know! -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 12:15, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

Hi! Apologies for not seeing the article sooner. I assume Whatcom Volunteer Center is notable from the shear number of Google News Archive hits seen here. Some of these may not assert notability, but it looks like the potential for significant coverage is certainly there. Unfortunately, many of these are pay-per-view. That does not mean we cannot use them. I doubt anyone wants to spend that amount of money creating the article so my advice to you is to hit the library in Bellingham and see if they have archives of the Herald. Take the dates and newspapers seen in that search and see if you can find them. You could also drop by the center and see if the Executive Director or other staff have a shoebox of newspaper clippings or stories framed on the wall. And read this --> Wikipedia:Offline sources. Let me know if you find anything. I am under the impression that you are recently just finished or done really soon for the quarter so I hope it is not too late.Cptnono (talk) 08:24, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:WVC Icon.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:WVC Icon.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 01:29, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
