Creating pages

[edit]

Please stop randomly creating pages just because you think a title is wrong. Forking is not the solution to the problem. Furthermore, stop changing the translation of the titles, as yours are not correct. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 01:38, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:230699298 d865031a23.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:230699298 d865031a23.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:04, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

I think this is the right place to put this, but still i'm not sure. I wrote some things for Derek Jeter. I wrote down some updated stats, which still remained, but extra things I wrote, like for "The Dive," or in Clutch hits section, they were all gone. Did someone just go on the section and get rid of them? I can understamd getting rid of what I wrote for Clutch hits, but with The Flip I changed the paragraphs a bit and yet it was as if I never even went there. The new picture I put for Derek Jeter is also gone. What happened?

The image was removed because it was an obvious copyright violation, and copyrighted images are not allowed on Wikipedia. The clutch hits example was removed by User:Michael Greiner as "unnecessary", and the changes in the paragraph below were removed because it made the paragraph more unencylopedic and was also unecessary. All this is visible in the page history; see Help:Page history for help. —Mets501 (talk) 18:46, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your userpage

[edit]

Hafaball, I hope that you are enjoying your time on Wikipedia. However, the "copyright warning" on the bottom of your userpage, which I suspect you did not mean seriously, is not appropriate and should probably be removed. I hope when you think about this for a minute you will agree, but if you have any questions let me know. Regards, Newyorkbrad 19:05, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
