About links
[edit]I am happy to give up changing the ordering out of respect for previous debates on the issue. I earnestly belive having a link to Central America and Carb. is usefull and valid for the DAB page. They may be part of NA, but are usefull for a DAB situation. Hawkfly 18:56, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
RE: America/s
I understand but I also suggest you desist; this topic has already been discussed and dealt with at length. As per the talk pages, please add details to more appropriate articles (and copyedit when you do so for typos): Americas and Use of the word American.
Moreover, you are in apparent breach of the three-revert rule; further retaliatory editing will be dealt with administratively. Thanks. E Pluribus Anthony | talk | 19:00, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
You are also in apparent breach of the three-revert rule. I think we can settle this easily though as I am more than willing to abide rules, and respectable conclusions about what to do about the links and the usage note. The SA and SI I have suggested a community vote, and the small paragraph I think we can agree on a proper location for. Hawkfly 19:15, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I'm not ... to be in breach of the 3RR requirement, it is required that I revert a page fully or partially more than three times in a 24-hour period, not just three as I have done. I defer to prior statements. E Pluribus Anthony | talk | 19:19, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
Looking at your edit history you cetainly would be, and neither were most of my edits "complete or partial" reverts but rather significantly changed to incorporate your and other talk comments. Regardless of that debate, this has become more trouble then its worth, so I will move the disputed paragraph to Americas page rather than Americas terminology. Hawkfly 19:31, 27 March 2006 (UTC
- Pot, meet kettle. I'd rather let an administrator decide on your editing behaviour ... and I doubt they'd not consider your reverts in breach of 3RR. And I'm frankly unconcerned with your assessment. Speaking of which: if you can't or won't comment judiciously and within the norms of Wp behaviour, refrain from doing so.
