Francis Koenig
[edit]A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Francis Koenig, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. / edg ☺ ★ 22:21, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

Reply to: Notice of Conflict of interest noticeboard discussion
[edit]I'd like to respond to the discussion at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard regarding a possible conflict of interest incident in which I have been mentioned. The thread is AdultVest. The discussion is about the topic AdultVest. I was the original creator of the AdultVest page and noticed that the contributions to the page made by other users were largely negative in tone and are written about a living person. I believe the negative articles fall under the codes ==October 2013==
Please do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. Ibnewswire (talk) 00:10, 3 October 2013 (UTC), {{db-attack}} and are subject for deletion. Current sources [1] have published the following: "UPDATE: The SEC was invited into Mr. Koenig's company to fully review all accounting and the result was that all funds were correctly accounted for. The SEC in turn closed the case in April 2010, exonerating Mr. Koenig from the said accusations in an official letter."
This source indicates that the living person mentioned in the article had been accused and exonerated, and yet the AdultVest wikipedia page is causing the accusations and negative content about this living person to be the prominent information displayed on this wikipedia page and in search engine results, which ultimately is disparaging and harmful to the living person in question. My intent in editing the article was to follow the policy of wikipedia to remove articles that serve to disparage, threaten, intimidate or harass their subject. I am a novice user and I did not understand the protocol for documenting the reasons for the deletion and changes that were made to the article when they were made. I'm attempting to learn the proper protocols. Although the proper documentation may not have originally been done correctly, I believe the changes are appropriate and should be implemented following the criteria for speedy deletion.
Thank you.

Here are a few key questions:
- Do you understand that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a business directory?
- Do you understand conflict of interest?
- Do you understand that to be considered for an encyclopedia article, the subject must be notable?
You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Daniel Case (talk) 17:47, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
Proposed article deletion
[edit]Hi I've proposed an article you created, AdultVest, for deletion, as it seems to be primarily promotional. All the best Mccapra (talk) 21:10, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
