- If you mean, can you use Wikipedia to write and store your essays? the answer is no - see WP:NOTWEBSPACE. If you mean, can you find ready-made essays on Wikipedia? again, probably no, because an encyclopedia article is a different sort of thing from an essay. What you can do is find information on Wikipedia which will be useful to you in writing your essay. Wikipedia's license allows you to copy information from here and use it however you like, but you would not be well advised just to copy material straight and use it as an essay, because it is very easy for your teachers to check with Google whether material has been copied from here - best to get the information here and write the essay in your own words. Welcome paragraph to tell you more below.
- As Sophie says above, there are many advice pages about contributing to Wikipedia which are called "essays" - see, for instance, the WP:List of bad article ideas - but I guess that is not what you meant. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:38, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

- Go to the page you want to make, lets say thispage for example, when you go onto it, it will be ready for you to start editing it. Make sure its notiable or it will get deleted.
- You could also make the page in your own userspace before you add it to Wikipedia. If you need anymore help, just ask. :) Sophie (Talk) 17:09, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
