Indeed the term "Organizational Project Management" should be capitalized as it refers to a formal system of specific and named processes codified as a standard by PMI and ISO. The term does not merely denote project management that is done in organizations, as the uncapitalized "Organizational project management" would suggest. Indeed "Organizational Project Management" (OPM) is a strategy execution framework, and people are certified in this framework and methods for assessing its development within organizations. That journal article you have referenced is a secondary source. The primary source is PMI's Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3), published by PMI and accredited by the International Standard Organization. Sir, the term was invented in the primary source, and the secondary source you refer to does not even pertain principally to the topic in question. Your secondary source is a journal article about the history of Project Management Organizations (PMO's), which is quite distinct from Organizational Project Management (OPM). It is absurd to suggest that this journal article (which was written by two authors) is definitive for the term when the term was created through a rigorous standards-setting protocol sanctioned by the International Standard Organization (ISO) involving hundreds of people across 35 countries five years prior to the publishing of this other journal article. If you do not appreciate this distinction, one must question your credentials in this topic. It is not appropriate for you to unilaterally overturn the judgement of thousands of experts. Indeed this appears to be an issue of disambiguation. "Organizational project management" is generic, whereas "Organizational Project Management" is a proper noun, and everyone doing work in this field professionally knows this. In fact, this was reinforced by a certification created by the Project Management Institute. Please revert the pages.

Sir, once again you have deleted a clarification about capitalization, specifically the clarification that "Organizational Project Management" is capitalized because it does not denote project management generically but denotes a framework for executing organizational strategies through project, programs, and portfolios. The reason you gave for doing this is that you say it is a personal opinion. As a matter of fact, this is not a personal opinion because it is literally defined as such in the published standard to which the introductory paragraph for the page refers.

You appear not to understand what we are talking about here. The term "Organizational Project Management" was defined by the leader (John Schlichter) of a standards development effort (OPM3) and approved by hundreds of people. This was done according to ISO protocols that require consensus building and transparency. It was published as an international standard called "OPM3," which is the acronym for "Organizational Project Management Maturity Model." OPM3 is a model for making Organizational Project Management (OPM) capable in organizations. In this standard, three domains are elaborated as the project, program, and portfolio management domains. Each of these domains is further defined by many specific processes, and these processes are integrated as a system. Therefore this is literally NOT simply project management performed in organizations.

Futhermore the term did not exist before the creation of the OPM3 standard. One can think of the OPM3 standard as a "secondary source" insofar as it is a publication and not a person that is the source. However, it is the primary or original source insofar as it is the publication that recorded the creation of the term. I made that edit precisely because IT was not neutral. Did you look at the comment I left along with my change? If you seek neutrality, then you have to welcome the opinion on wiki of EVERY person who disagrees with the film (wouldn't that be tiresome and pointless). I have no problem with people having a political difference with a film, but I do not believe that this one was A. founded in reality, or B. unbiased. The section was not neutral and was representing a trivial disagreement made by politicized parties who do not wish to see ANY slight upon their opinions or people. If you accept that section, you must just as well accept the cries of people who claim The Avengers is anti-Scandinavian, or Independence Day promotes anti-immigration policies (those are stretches to make my point). There has to be a standard of quality and/or level of relevance to make edits to wiki articles. I'm really sorry I removed the Gatwick-Reno/Tahoe service as it has been scrapped due to problems with the facilities at Reno Airport. No one has ever queried my editing before so I did not realise I had to provide a source when removing something. I'm glad you pointed it out though! I do a lot of editing on airport pages to give up to date passenger statistics (Luton, Manchester, Edinburgh) and add new air routes that have been announced (sorry, bit of self-promo!). I would be more than happy if you could point out mistakes that I might make in the future to make my editing better. Thanks, Rhys

Regarding moving my edit.My family was the one who owned the land that Barth stole it from. They were Sephardic Jewish people who received a land grant bY Queen Isabella. We stumbled upon this article today. It is totally incorrect. The Barth brothers were bullies and wanted my Great Great Great Grandfathers land and almost killed him for it. There is no citation on Wikipedia from where the false information that Barth won enough winnings in a poker game to purchase that land, so I am not sure why my edit is being removed. I'm sorry but one person isn't going to win enough winnings in a poker game to buy 2000 acres of land. That isn't even comprehensible.

It is common knowledge that Mormons stole large portions of land during their settling. My family's land was attempted to be stolen using "Adverse posession" In court 10 years prior but the person trying to steal it at that time lost in court.

When we take them to court for this, and you continue to hold this slander on your webpage of how our land was obtained (STOLEN). I will attempt to sue your page as well. You are supporting anti-semitism and stealing of the Jewish people's land/property.

DraftKings article

Hi - I created the DraftKings article. There's a persistent vandal who keeps putting in external links to his DraftKings account, which I assume is some sort of affiliate thing where he gets a commission for people who sign up. I sent an email to the support desk at DraftKings which I hope they'll see, in case they can identify the person and ask him (or her) to stop. But I also noticed you flagged the article as being advertorial. Besides in the lede statement where it says they are recognized as one of the leaders of the space, which is true and is taken directly from the title of the NY Times article referenced at the bottom, the only other content I can think that would be considered advertising is the content describing the games. But rather than having me assume what you are referring to, please discuss your specific concerns here or on the talk page and let's see what we can do to get the article up to your standards. Geology of Abu Rawash

Hi. I noticed your revert of User:Hsmbadawy's contribution on Abu Rawash as well as his later reinsertion. There is an issue with the geology section of the page, which is a copypaste of this paper. The problem is, according to Hsmbadawy's username and the improper "tag" he put at the end of the section, he is a coauthor of the copypasted paper. It did look like it was lifted from somewhere. Good work tracking down the source. As the editor is a co-author, I doubt said editor has the sole rights to release it. In most cases a solution would be adapt the material and paraphrase with citation, but I'm not sure a conference paper is a sufficiently reliable (or non-primary) source. I think that the user edited the article sometime ago, because it is still a copypaste even without his last change. Look I found it, is the abstract of his 2008 master degree thesis. It is also possible that someone copied that abstract in the article long ago, and the user is simply trying to rivendicate his work. blocking for balanced views

I fail to see how putting down facts can be deemed as acts of vandalism. ? You quote details from reliable sources? Are witnesses in a court case not deemed reliable in Wikipedia's opinion? Are witnesses to an event published as fact by newspapers deemed reliable as they form the article written and therefore used by wikipedia. The same goes for TV reports etc. So why are the events by thoses experienced by people such as myself with reliable witnesses not deemed to to be reliable by wikipedia and prevented from being shown.?

I've just been playing this game (in the UK). Apparently this name (which I personally dislike!) for the game, originated in Cuba. When investigating the rules for this 'new to me' game, I came across 'President', and the rules match the game I've been playing. So I reckon we were playing President, but by another name. Pizza bagels

I just saw there was a message about editing pizza bagels. I only eat them, because they're delicious. This is a shared work computer, so if other people make incorrect edits does a ban prevent me from coming to the site? I don't edit, so I don't care if that functionality is blocked because people are being dumb but I do visit pretty frequently.

the credit creation theory of banking is different: it holds that each individual bank can create money "out of nothing" by the simple act of extending credit.

When banks make a loan they create a deposit and a loan. No prior cash needed. Banks have access to reserves when needed via the central bank.

Firstly a bank creates a loan. So the loan is to person A, and firstly the deposit is to person A as well. At that point the bank is still fine and still fully funded.

What happens then though is that person A wants to pay person B.

If person B is at the same bank, then there is NO problem. The deposit is switched to person B and the bank is still fully funded.

The fun starts when person B is at another bank.

What has to happen that is that bank 2 has to take over the deposit in bank 1 from person A. That increases the assets of bank 2 which then creates a new deposit for person B.

That’s how payment works. Somebody has to take the place of the original depositor in the source bank before you can create anything in the target bank.

Of course at that point bank 2 is taking a risk on bank 1 and will expect to be paid by bank 1 an interest rate to compensate for that risk.

And it also means that if bank 2 isn’t prepared to take a risk on bank 1, that nobody in bank 1 can pay anybody in bank 2.

It’s this latter point that caused the creation of central banks – to make sure that the payment system clears. The theory being that all the banks trust the central bank ‘in the last resort’ and therefore the central bank can ensure payments always clear.

IronGargoyle, thanks for fixing the edit. I meant to remove one word, "back" from "reflect back," which sounds a little redundant to me. I don't know how anything else was deleted; I don't know why I wasn't logged in. Editing by iPad before sunrise has its risks. Now, how to add some sources to that article.
