Speedy deletion nomination of Mario Christian Meyer[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mario Christian Meyer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Rewrite[edit]

I have taken the opportunity to rewrite your article on Mario Christian Meyer. The revised edition address concerns raised on the article's talk page. It also removes references and links to PISAD's website, as they all appear to be invalid (the link to http://www.pisad.bio.br returns a 404 error). You have apparently not taken my remarks above to heart, and have rewritten the Mario Christian Meyer article in a manner and style that is completely inappropriate for an encyclopedia. Facts in a biography must be verifiable, and statements such as "a curious, sensitive and precocious reader since age 8" are not verifiable and not encyclopedic. They are great for a biographical book or article in a magazine, perhaps, but not in an encyclopedia. Please keep your tone neutral and stick to verifiable facts.
