Why are you here?

  1. You are hacked off because I nominated one of your articles for deletion - This isn't the place to discuss it, I strongly suggest taking it up in the appropriate AfD discussion or on the articles talk page.
  2. You are replying to a message I left on your talk page - Don't reply here! Reply on your talk page, I'll be watching!
  3. You want to discuss an article - If it is an article I have previously contributed to, it is likely to be on my watchlist, consider starting a discussion there instead, it may generate more discussion from outside parties.
  4. You think I'm harassing you - Unlikely. I have over 20,000 pages on my watchlist, including every UK place, road, bus operator and bus route (and most rail articles). If you edit the same group of articles, we are bound to bump into each other!
  5. You actually wish to talk to me - Welcome! You are in the right place, start a new discussion at the bottom of the page!

The talk page

User talk: LondonBuses75[edit]

Sorry for reverting your warning on the above page, however it was more of an unconstructive edit that the user made to London Buses route 5, not creating an inappropriate page because the user technically *didnt* create it (it was created years ago and made into a redirect because it failed GNG). Just thought i'd explain to you why i reverted this in case you look at your alerts and wonder "Why the hell has Class455fan1 reverted my warning??😉" Class455fan1 (talk) 22:56, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't edit or remove other people's talk page messages. Please read talk page guidelines. Creating a page from a redirect is still creating a page, it wasn't restoring old content. Your editing patterns concern me and it appears you look for trouble. Jeni (talk) 23:47, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Settlement articles[edit]

Hi. I happened to notice a bunch of articles (such as Henstead) popped up on my watchlist today as being edited as part of an educational project - I think at Portsmouth University. I think some of the same are on your list - my list will cover Norfolk and Suffolk more than anywhere else so it's likely those ones. I'm not sure the edits are great quality yet, but I've left a note on the relevant user talk page of the person editing Heisted (which is like10 minutes from where I live) to try encourage improvement rather than actually changing the edits myself (the "it's near..." bit for example).

I wasn't sure if you'd realised that there was some kind of educational thing going on with some of those articles or not. Gut feeling is to encourage better editing and we might get longer term editors out of it. Blue Square Thing (talk) 19:21, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 23[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cold Ashton, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bath. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:07, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

Just stumbled across a comment you left on someone's talk page a couple of days ago. You may find the following snippet helpful,
