Nice! Although it's far from finished. A520 | Talk me away!/sign it! 17:35, 15 December 2013 (UTC) Some sugesstions would be a back button and the ability to post warnings on vandaliser's user talk pages. A520 | Talk me away!/sign it! 22:40, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is alright, but...[edit]

I would like to recommend some changes for the next update. Whenever I get back on the patroller after not using it for about 10 to 20 minutes, it is unable to fetch recent changes, and I have to log out and log back in. And it only works vertically. I hold my tablet horizontally, so could you make a rotate option? If you could do both these things, I'd be very happy. Thanks, Rtucker913 (What do you want?) 01:00, 24 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks (and thanks)[edit]

Thanks for working on this. While patrolling is invaluable, it gets tedious, so an app is a good way to take advantage of those times we're fiddling with or phones killing time and whatnot.

Just a quick suggestion: how do you feel about a button for "thanks" perhaps set apart from the others, in the top-right? In effect it would turn this into a dual purpose app: patrolling and wikilove. --— Rhododendrites talk |  21:27, 22 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Option to Warn Vandals?[edit]

Thanks for this cool app! It would be better if there is an option to automatically warn the user(s) after reverting vandalism, and report to AIV after the final warning. Is this app still in development? --Tony Tan98 · talk 00:44, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Could you post the source code?[edit]

Somebody might want to continue this project, and I'm sure it would be appreciated if you publicly released the source code under CC-BY-SA or MIT or even public domain. Grognard Chess (talk) Ping when replying 03:04, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Chess: The source code seems to reside here: https://github.com/jfmantis/WikiPatroller --Fixuture (talk) 20:29, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Playstore link is broken[edit]

It says "We're sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server." So where can I get this app? Will it be reuploaded to the playstore? --Fixuture (talk) 20:30, 8 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Fixuture: Perhaps we can compile an apk and load it on? Grognard Extraordinaire Chess (talk) Ping when replying 03:29, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Shame, I was looking forward to being able to try this app out. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 15:06, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I used this app before. What is current status of it. There is some links on other app markets. Are they safe? --Mavrikant (talk) 20:30, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The app stopped working for me a long time ago (I think it was after the Play Store page was removed), and I could've sworn I saw that Jfmantis posted a message somewhere about it not working anymore due to a change on the MediaWiki (or Wikimedia?) backend, but now I'm unable to find it and wonder if I'm confusing it with something. Jfmantis, could you post an "official" status on the project page? Thanks. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 11:51, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
