Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Error list, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Move[edit]

OK, it has taken me a little while to cotton on. You are requesting a discussion of Wikipedia editorial policy. That is of course perfectly OK but we do not carry on such discussions in the Article namespace. I have moved Error list to User:Kåre Fog/Error list. I suggest that you move it again to any title which starts with Wikipedia: and create links to it from other Wikipedia policy discussions. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 19:33, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Advice[edit]

Re [1]. I strongly suggest you remove this. Not because you'll get into trouble on wiki for writing it, but because it looks bad for you. Wiki comes quite high in google searches. Would you really want someone searching for KF to come across that? I would hope not.

To address the substance: wikipedia has rules. On some occaisions they can be disregarded or broken; in others not. You need to proceed cautiously if you encounter resistance.

even if I establish a neutral and informative user page, this is deleted with no reason and no warning - I don't know what you mean by this. Your user page User:Kåre Fog/List of errors remains
