Broken links[edit]

None of your www.sym454.org links appear to work. They also failed as far back as 20 November. Netfirms tries to redirect it to individual.utoronto.ca/kalendis but fails. Looks like your new URL was not in place before the old one died. — Joe Kress 02:12, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Citing sources[edit]

When adding non-obvious information to articles, as you did to Gregorian calendar, please take a moment to cite the source of the information. If you figured it out yourself, please do not add the information unless you can find a reliable published source which also provides the information. Jc3s5h (talk) 15:39, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Kalendis. You have new messages at Jc3s5h's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of previously published material to our articles as you apparently did to Revised Julian calendar. Please cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. Jc3s5h (talk) 22:48, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Expanding earth[edit]

Please discuss on talk:Expanding Earth. Thanks, Vsmith (talk) 02:43, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. National Test Site[edit]

Hello, Kalendis. I reverted your insertion of an overhead photo purported to be Plutonium Valley, because it is not. It is a shot of Yucca Flats, the whole of the area used to test a majority of the bombs exploded at the NTS, mostly in vertical shafts. Their explosions left behind the subsidence craters which are the main feature here. Also, most of the air blasts held before 1963 were done here, and at Frenchman Flats, the white salt dry lake to the south east of here. Plutonium Valley is a real valley, off the righthand side of your photo and down a little. You can see it at 36.978,-115.978, using Google maps or Earth (just copy/paste those coordinates into the search field). It is not very spectacular a sight, as only four surface conventional explosives tests were done there, but there are four localities on a roughly N/S vertical line which are the four Project 56 tests. Those tests were the only ones performed in the valley.

Thanks for your interest. Don't let this deter you from future edits. SkoreKeep (talk) 18:40, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
