Please respect existing differential style in math articles[edit]

Hi, I'm letting you know I've reverted your changes to Dirac delta function and Lebesgue integration that changed differentials from italic style (i.e., dx) to roman/upright ISO style (dx). While it is true that ISO 80000-2:2019 specifies the latter, roman upright style, please read MOS:MATH#Roman versus italic and MOS:STYLERET; in particular: Changes from one style to another should be done only to make an article consistent with itself. Formatting changes should not be made solely to make articles consistent with each other, nor to make articles conform to a particular style guide or standards body. It is inappropriate for an editor to go through articles doing mass changes from one style to another.  — sbb (talk) 05:59, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
