I am the author of a Homer Lea biography and the material I used is my own, from my website, The Homer Lea Research Center (homerlea.org), of which I am the sole owner and operator. Please advise. Thank you for your interest in working on Wikipedia. You cannot post copyright material on Wikipedia even if you are the copyright holder, unless special licensing permissions are in place. That is because Wikipedia aims to be freely distributable and copyable by anyone, and all content must have the appropriate documentation in place before that can happen. Please see Wikipedia:donating copyrighted materials which explains how it works.Also, commentary such as this does not belong in article space. It's like saying "Wikipedia has got it all wrong; visit my website for the true facts". That's definitely not the kind of material we're looking for. Dianna, the current Homer Lea Wikipedia entry is filled with factual errors, which is not the kind of material you want on Wikipedia. Yes, "Wikipedia did get it all wrong." I am a subject matter expert on Homer Lea, having published a biography of him in 2010. In the 2010-2011 timeframe, following the publication of my book on Homer Lea, I revised and updated the Wikipedia entry for Homer Lea to ensure factual accuracy. Over the years various individuals have edited it with erroneous information, which they believed to be accurate, and I corrected these errors when I periodically visited the site. I do not visit the Homer Lea Wikipedia site often. I have done this over the years because there is so much misinformation about Homer Lea across the internet. The current entry, which erased the previous factual Homer Lea entry, has too many errors for me to easily correct. At the end of the day, a traditional encyclopedia would never accept the current poor quality content on the Homer Lea Wikipedia page.
Although you have removed my recent postings, I recommend that you take a few minutes to read the Homer Lea Wikipedia entry and then read my original comments, which I previously advised you were not copyrighted. They may not meet the criteria for Wikipedia, but you should recognize that "Wikipedia, did get it all wrong" on Homer Lea. --Lawrence M.
