A belated welcome![edit]

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Liber.mark. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 18:12, 6 November 2012 (UTC) --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 18:12, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

CDR, and minor edits[edit]

Thanks for your note on Talk:Complementarity determining region, I have removed this information from the article. Also, please do not mark edits as "Minor" unless they are really trivial things such as correction of typos. (See WP:MINOR for more information.) Happy editing, ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 18:12, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Class assignment[edit]

Hello, Liber.mark! Welcome to Wikipedia! It appears that you are here to participate in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Click here for the online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia's page for questions. You can also ask me by visiting my user talk page and leaving a message, or you can ask your question on this page by editing it and placing {{Help me}} before your question. Please make sure that you sign your messages on discussion pages, which is done by entering four tildes (~~~~) at the very end of it; this will automatically insert your username and the date. I also highly recommend that you review the advice for students page.

Before you create an article, make sure that you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one, please tell your instructor about creating one. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know that the article is a subject of an educational assignment as well as aid your communication with them.

Here are some more pages that you might find helpful:

While editing:

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished!

Society for Neuroscience project[edit]

Hi, Liber.mark! I'm trying to get more information about the Society for Neuroscience Wikipedia project you mentioned, as I was previously under the impression this was an initiative being led by a neuroscience WikiProject. Can you point me to more information about the project/initiative? I would really appreciate it and am hoping to see if and how my team and I can support such an initiative. Thanks! Jami (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:14, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Jami (Wiki Ed): I just happened to check back here, and I saw your question. You are correct that the initiative was between the Society and WP:NEURO, and that there is nothing new about it. There's a user-box about it (see my user page), so new editors perhaps hear about it from that. The Society has not been actively participating in it for some time now, so there's nothing really for WikiEd to do. (On the other hand, if you are interested in re-booting it, please get in touch with me about it at my user talk.) --Tryptofish (talk) 21:57, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Tryptofish: Thanks for the info! I'm not sure we have the capacity right now, on top of the other associations I'm in touch with (and because of the extra support we're giving to med-related courses). That being said, I will touch base with you as soon as we have that capacity. :) Jami (Wiki Ed) (talk) 22:31, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
