Help! I'm unsure why most of the content I created for John Adams High School (Jamaica/Ozone Park, NY) doesn't appear on the page. I'd appreciate help learning how to fix that, please.

Here's the code. You'll note that even on this usertalk page, much of the coded text doesn't appear in regular view page mode:

  1. Welcome!
  2. I fixed this in the article. The referencing stuff was pretty messed up, which was the problem. You opened <ref> tags you didn't close. You might want to take a look at what I changed.
  3. There seems to be a third reference you called "multiple" that you never gave. The first time you mention the reference, you need to give the content that you want to have appear for that reference. Take a look at the ones I did.
  4. Your own user talk page is not the greatest place to ask questions. Usually, no one is watching it. (I just happen to have "wandered" over from the Freeport, New York article.) Either use the talk page of the article or see Wikipedia:Questions for other possibilities.
  5. On talk pages (including your own) use four tildes (~~~~) to sign your remarks. When the page is saved, that will automatically convert to your "sig" & timestamp.

I hope that is helpful. - Jmabel | Talk 07:26, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you much! This is extremely helpful.

By the way, I checked out your talk page. Whew! Your role can sure be a thankless one at times. Please know that I appreciate your help. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lisatolliver (talkcontribs) 21 July 2006.

An article that you created, Bonza bottler day, was proposed for deletion, probably yesterday. Please review the policy on proposed deletion and feel free to comment on the article's talk page. If no contest is made, the article will be deleted in four days from today.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 20:27, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
