Jeremy Dunning-Davies[edit]

How does this differ from the deleted article? My first response is that it should be speedy deleted as a recreation of an article deleted by AfD. Dougweller (talk) 20:31, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've expanded it, added information about his work at CERN, worded things more neutrally and so on. I checked with other people first, and they said they feel it's a good enough expansion to avoid getting speedied, so I moved it into the mainspace. I think it would be useful to say something on the article's talk page about how you see it to be different. As the Admin who closed the AfD seems happy, I'll leave it to other editors to decide whether it is sufficiently different. Dougweller (talk) 07:39, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I moved the discussion here. Headbomb {ταλκκοντριβς – WP Physics} 07:45, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was about to delete this under WP:G4 until I saw this discussion; the new version of the article does not establish that the topic meets WP:PROF or the WP:GNG, and seems to defy the outcome of the deletion discussion.  Skomorokh  14:10, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Skomorokh. Dougweller has also written here that he hasn't noticed any appreciable changes or expansion [1]. The statement about cold fusion seems just to be wrong and unsupported by the link, which is not a WP:RS of any kind (the Telesio-Galilei Institute in East Croydon or possibly Hungary).
