My edit to Kindattu[edit]

Hello, you basically just accused me of vandalism, but gave no justification for that allegation, which is clearly false. In fact, I had explained clearly and at length in my edit summary why I was making the edit I was making and it was clear that my motives were constructive - you can debate whether my reasoning was correct, but just sending me the default message for vandals is insulting and inappropriate. 62.73.69.121 (talk) 08:35, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not being insulting, the warning was appropriate and proportionate. The fact that you're criticising me for your own shortcomings reeks of transphobia. Melvin Hudson (talk) 08:41, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You've got to be kidding. You haven't indicated any 'shortcomings' of mine, which is precisely what you were supposed to do both in your original revert and then in response to this message. You treated me as a vandal, which I clearly wasn't. This is a shortcoming. Your pulling the discrimination card is absurd, I couldn't even know what your gender identity was. Anyway, I will indeed leave a message at the Teahouse or somewhere else about this, since you are clearly being unreasonable. --62.73.69.121 (talk) 09:15, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Don't be ridiculous. Going to the Teahouse is just causing drama for the sake of it, which demonstrates to me that you are WP:NOTHERE and I was right to warn you. Melvin Hudson (talk) 09:25, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Funny, you talking about causing drama. I was just peacefully making uncontroversial edits to obscure Mesopotamia-related articles and not asking to interact with anyone until you came along, as my edit history shows. Anyway, I've left the notice.--62.73.69.121 (talk) 09:44, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that you're criticising me for your own shortcomings reeks of transphobia. What on Earth is this supposed to mean? The IP didn't mention transgenderism, nor was their edit associated with it. WP:AGF. — Czello (music) 10:13, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion[edit]

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Melvin_Hudson reported by User:CanonNi (Result: ). Thank you. CanonNi (talk) 09:37, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is a completely inappropriate forum in which to discuss our issues. Firstly, there has been no "edit warring" - that would suggest we are constantly reverting and reinstating each other's edits which is not the case. Secondly, those diffs you're quoting don't prove anything. Thirdly, it's becoming increasingly clear that you are transphobic and are targeting me deliberately. Melvin Hudson (talk) 09:51, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop interacting with CanonNi[edit]

I will ask an uninvolved admin to take a look. Polygnotus (talk) 09:54, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No need. Just tell them to leave me alone and stop harassing me. Melvin Hudson (talk) 09:56, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am no administrator but I am pretty sure the administrator will stop the interaction. Polygnotus (talk) 09:58, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.

Unblock request[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Actually I created my account a while back and was editing anonymously before remembering to login today. Anyway, I thought Wikipedia was supposed to be a place for diversity and inclusivity, but it seems I'm wrong judging by how all of you are choosing to gang up on me like this. That an anon who vandalized and was warned is able to create a thread on ANI and not have it removed is deeply, deeply insulting. I have done nothing wrong and you are all transphobic. UNBLOCK ME NOW Melvin Hudson (talk) 10:40, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You had to know an unblock request like this wasn't going to work. WP:GAB in case you are confused. Yamla (talk) 12:14, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I'm not surprised it didn't work but that's not the point. You lot treat trans people like shit and you'd rather we didn't exist, so no I'm not in the least bit surprised it didn't work. Any reasonable and non-bigoted person would have unblocked me, which you lot clearly aren't (any reasonable and non-bigoted person would not have blocked me in the first place). This site is little more than a fascist dictatorship founded upon HATRED of those who are different. I seriously don't understand how you can sleep at night knowing you're making life hell for millions of people like me. SHAME ON YOU!!! Melvin Hudson (talk) 12:24, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Any reasonable person who can work with other people on a collaborative project would know not to throw around personal attacks and accusations and generally make it hard to work collaboratively. I'll be removing your access to this page too since you seem to not be getting the message that your behaviour is unwelcome here. stwalkerster (talk) 12:39, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Noting for any possible subsequent reviews that they reverted my original decline of the unblock request that User:Yamla subsequently also declined, which is in keeping with the edits that contributed to the block. - Aoidh (talk) 13:16, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
