Username

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: It is offensive, as it seems to imply that you are prowd to be a racist, as White nationalism is a form of racism. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

I am extremely sorry, if my username has offended you in any.I have already requested for a change in my username. Thanks TWN (talk) 11:32, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Where? And with whom? I see no sign of any such request in your contribution history. The place to do that is at Wikipedia:Changing username. --Calton | Talk 13:36, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There's a perfectly formatted request pending at WP:CHU, which somebody will get to soon. Thanks for understanding, TWN/NJO, and have fun editing Wikipedia! αlεxmullεr 16:21, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of The Inverted World

[edit]

An editor has nominated The Inverted World, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Inverted World and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:59, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
