Since you are the one who is altering the original content of the article, it is your responsibility to provide some solid proof for why your changes are correct. This is a Wikipedia policy. I notice that despite warnings on this page, plus discussions on the Scott Joplin page, that you have reverted the recent reversions by Hoops gza. Please stop reverting and discuss your changes on the talk page. Your user page indicates that you are a "grammar nerd" and certainly the Scott Joplin page could benefit from your input as it failed a GAN review because of dodgy grammar back in 2011.
