Hi. I'm probably in the dummies category but I'm doing my best to edit an article on the First Robot Olympics that took place in Glasgow in 1990 (it's in Guinness book of records etc etc). I started the piece a year ago and put in a lot of work a year ago to get an initial draft and was then waiting for input from others to contribute. Then, after six months I was told if it didn't get completed it would get deleted. I requested it to get put back but when it was all the content had disappeared. Bit demoralised. You just sent a message saying that by now empty document will be deleted. Please, please, if there is any way of getting back the original document I promise to get it finished quickly and to get input from the dozens of robot builders (US, Japan, Russia, India .....) who competed at the time. Any help, guidance etc would be GREATLY appreciated. Many thanks, Peter MowforthPetermowforth (talk) 09:12, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I restored this article for you. I would recommend adding reliable sources to the article (i.e. press coverage of the event). Let me know if you have any further questions. Calliopejen1 (talk) 16:00, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Petermowforth. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "First Robot Olympics".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/First Robot Olympics}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 17:19, 17 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
