You recently tagged User:RA0808/CID for speedy deletion. I can, and will gladly do so, buy it would make me feel a lot better about it if I knew it was really you making this request. Can you verify that you are the owner of this CID? (you can email me if you like) Thanks! Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 19:24, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Image restored to article. Someone accidentally submitted it to Commons without realizing it was non-free, and was using the Commons version in the article. RA0808 talkcontribs 18:01, 7 March 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I'm RA0808. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to John J. Sie seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.RA0808 talkcontribs 17:21, 10 March 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.31.87.121 (talk)

Figure Skating pages

Hi. I'm a fairly unexperienced Wikipedia editor, so I'm not very sure what to do with this situation. It's regarding several figure skating pages. I saw you reverting a few edits today, so I was hoping you could be of assistance. Pages of discussion: Figure skating at the 2014 Winter Olympics‎, Figure skating at the 2014 Winter Olympics – Ladies' singles, Kim Yuna. Users of discussion Lazeks042186, 99.237.24.96, Heritoctavus, and me - Kirin13.

There's a debate over the results of the ladies figure skating. I'm trying to keep the debate on one page Figure skating at the 2014 Winter Olympics – Ladies' singles, instead of having a dozen paragraphs on several pages. Having it many pages makes it hard to make edits. Also, Lazeks042186, 99.237.24.96, and Heritoctavus all have very strong opinions that the results were wrong and that bias shows in their edits. Also Lazeks042186 and 99.237.24.96 have been blanking information opposing their viewpoint. Heritoctavus keeps playing one-upmanship games on any edit.

I've spent over 6 hours today on these things. I'm tired. Is it worth trying to keep Wikipedia neutral? How do you deal with users like these? What could I have done better today (besides not going to Wikipedia)?

Thanks for any advice, Kirin13 (talk) 07:37, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi Kirin,
I'm happy to offer you any advice I can. First off, discussions shouldn't be taking place in edits to articles or edit summaries. Any user who is doing so should be pointed to the article's talk page to receive consensus (which is the decision making method used here on Wiki.
If a user is repeatedly adding non-constructive content, removing content, or just generally being non-constructive you should place an appropriate warning message on their talk page (these can be found at WP:WARN). Once a user exceeds a fourth warning then they should be reported to Wikipedia Administrators at the Administrator Intervention against Vandalism page or to another relevant admin noticeboard.
If a user keeps repeatedly undoing edits or restoring content that has been removed for positive/constructive reasons that's known as edit warring and is strictly against the rules here. Reverting (i.e. undoing) another user's edits more than 3 times in one 24 hour period is against what we call the Three Revert Rule which is a serious "bright-line rule" that will usually result in a 24 hour block for the editor(s) in question.
If you take a look at some of the linked pages in this message it should help you feel a bit more prepared for dealing with situations like with the figure skating articles. Please let me know if there's anything else I can provide assistance with. RA0808 talkcontribs 20:40, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for stopping the vandal Club 37. He has left the sarcastic welcome message on nearly a hundred new user talk pages - is there a way to revert all his edits? New users may get really confused by his sarcastic welcome messages and will be reluctant to contribute. Thanks again. BigCat82 (talk) 21:00, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

I've gone through his contribution list, all of the edits in question were reverted or deleted by the admins who blocked him or other users. Seems everything is under control! RA0808 talkcontribs 21:02, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

Crimean Referendum

Regarding your revert, please discuss the matter with me on the talk page. Thank you. Stephen J Sharpe (talk) 22:06, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

I have. RA0808 talkcontribs 22:09, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

Hello

Hello i noticed you reverted the change i made,I made that because im a scrub to Wikipedia and i found this hacking group on the weekend called "The_Fourth_Reich" and they hack pedos and i thought that they deserve to go on Wikipedia i think you should make a page for them and if you want i have some info on them — Preceding unsigned comment added by Biker6676 (talkcontribs) 24 March 2014

Thanks for your interest in contributing and improving Wikipedia, but to create a page on Wikipedia there needs to be reliable sources on the topic. If you have those then you can feel free to create the page or ask for help in creating the page. RA0808 talkcontribs 18:30, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
Ok what reliable sources would i need and i also understand that there has been a recent scare in the pedo community if that helps — Preceding unsigned comment added by Biker6676 (talkcontribs) 24 March 2014
If you click the link in my above message for reliable sources it will give you an idea of what is expected. (P.S. Please remember to remember to sign your posts with four tildes like this "~~~~") RA0808 talkcontribs 18:43, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
