Speedy deletion of "Milivoje Trbić"

A page you created, Milivoje Trbić, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. ukexpat (talk) 20:19, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Coat of arms of the Republic of Macedonia

Hi, Revizionist. I need your help. There is a user called Imbris who constantly edits the article "Coat of arms of the Republic of Macedonia" so that the 'red star' on top of the coa be described as non-communist, although we all know that SFR Yugoslavia had a Communist ideology. If you want to see our standpoints (my one and the one of Imbris) watch my talk page under "Red star was a symbol of Yugoslavism". Socialist greetings from Germany. Cukiger (talk) 01:53, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

I moved the discussion from my talk page to the talk page of 'Coat of arms of the Republic of Macedonia', so others can read it, too. It would be nice if you would comment there on that issue. Cukiger (talk) 02:23, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
The red star has not been described in the Constitution of SR Macedonia as a Communist symbol. Yugoslavia was a self-management socialist society. Someone would say that Sweden is a socialist model country. Yugoslavia had some market aimed policies. All of the above has nothing to do with the CoA of the R. of Macedonia as it is NOW. The Republic of Macedonia is not a Communist nor a Socialist country. All the premises of Cukiger's logic are false. We cannot judge the current Macedonia's symbols as the symbols of the SR Macedonia. The difference exists. -- Imbris (talk) 23:35, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Unofficial ethnic Macedonian flag

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Unofficial ethnic Macedonian flag, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Unofficial ethnic Macedonian flag

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —Snigbrook 17:11, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:421 nof 2.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:421 nof 2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:03, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

I am not the enemy

Hi there! I can't understand the title you gave to your message to me. Did I offended you somehow? I would like to explain the following: I am not fighting any war - in fact, i am trying to put as much effort on describing disputed historical facts as possible. You can see that by following all my contributions. I have only "opened fire" against a far-rightist that was trying to POV the history of the CP in Greece. And there I stopped. I appreciate your material, although biased - after all what is not biased today- but I woud appreciate if we work together on this. My question for the picture was derived by the fact that I saw it in the book of Dimitris Penis that you indicated and there is no exact mention of the fighters apart from the Peiko as he writes). You could put everything in the pictures page... So, you are peaking me for some days now regarding the "copy that states the number bla bla bla", despite the fact that i have already stated that I am trying to pin down for official archives ( that everybody can reach) such references. i have done some research today and the outcome is far beyong any imagination ( so to speak) . I will send you a draft before I upload in order to refine it. I still believe we can work together if we moderate our "propaganda" nature in the article.

D. Dkace (talk) 22:50, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Dear Dkace, nobody says that you are an "enemy". On the contrary, I am glad that I can have a normal discussion with you on this matters, and I am even more glad that we are interested in the same subject. The name of my message means "A little present", and I really do not understand why did you react like this, i simply wanted to surprise you with two rare unpublished images of Marko Vafijadis and Niko Zahariadis. I also have a lot of photos of ethnic Greek fighters as well as from ethnic Macedonians. I will upload them too. We can also share information and facts. I am glad that we can cooperate together. PS. As Zahariadis said: "The Slavic-Macedonian and Greek people can win only if they are united.Divided, they shell be defeated" (source: "Σαραντα χρονια του ΚΚΕ 1918-1958", Αθηνα, 1958. Regards. --Revizionist (talk) 23:09, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
I reacted with surprise, feeling that "A little courtesy" meant that i am not respecting your opinion or your work in wiki. I am glad that this is not the issue, and I am sorry for my reaction.
Regarding the photos: Do you have an original or a copy? Is it published in a book or you obtained it from a former DSE fighter? i am asking because, if it is a document and not a copy, you can also send it to the Committee working on the Archive of KKE - today the only group trying to find and save valuable info from that era. Of course it would be extremely helpful if these articles ( Democratic Army , Greek Civil War, KKE) reference these photos.Dkace (talk) 12:07, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for the photos, I really appreciate it. I insist on sending a copy to the Committee that works on KKE's archive. If you decide to do so, I can send you the links to do that. The photos are great. Do we know the locations that they are taken as well as the year?Dkace (talk) 09:36, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Paskal Mitrevski

hello user revisionist, I have created this article about Paskal Mitrevski. Just one question, do you have information regarding his birthplace and early life. You may even have the book "Paskal Mitrevski i negovoto vreme"? any help? PMK1 (talk) 11:38, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:451 nof ustav.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:451 nof ustav.jpg. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 23:34, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Hello. I see that you've uploaded a picture from John Erickson's Hitler versus Stalin: The Second World War on the Eastern Front in Photographs. I see you've said that it is acceptable under {{PD-Ukraine}}, but, also having this book and being interested in uploading some of the photos from it, I had a question. The edition I have is published in the 1980s, but the template says that it is for images first published before 1951. Do you know if all the other images in that book also fall under that license, or is this an isolated one and others were not published until after 1951? Any help you could give would be appreciated. – Joe Nutter 18:42, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of A bre Makedonče

I have nominated A bre Makedonče, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/A bre Makedonče. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Juvenile Deletionist 19:10, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Stojan Kochov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 01:23, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
