Scouting[edit]

Thanks for all the work you're doing on Scouting articles. As you adopted some articles, I took the liberty of adding your name to the member list. You can remove it if you like. You may want to put some Scout userboxes on your page too--up to you. Thanks again for the help. Rlevse 17:01, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

APhiO Wikipedians.[edit]

Welcome my brother! My name is Randolph Finder and my handle is Naraht.

There is a Wikipedia Category for Alpha Phi Omega Wikipedians. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:APhiO_Wikipedians and follow the instructions to add yourself.

Also, are you a charterer of DZ from back in the 1940s or a recharterer from the 1990s with Riz Shavelle?

See you around Wikipedia!

  • I helped re-charter in 1992 with Riz! You know her??Robhmac 15:14, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yup. Slept on her floor when I came up for rechartering, I think. Can't remember much else about the rechartering though. :( Though it was years after the chartering before I found out that Riz wasn't her actual first name. She ended up doing grad school at Drexel, joined GSS over there and is *still* involved with Circle K, even after school. If you do a websearch on "mariza shavelle" you get a boatload of hits. BTW, a star at the beginning gives the list type dot, colons just do the tabbing... Naraht 15:58, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, I should remember you! We had the formal on the top floor of HRE or HRN. I don't know why, but she was horribly upset when we found out her first name was "Debra". Glad to hear she went on to grad school. Remember her Nissan minibus, she managed to park overnight all over off-campus without getting ticketed.
That was an odd vehicle... Some people just don't like the name given by their parents, I guess. I'm not sure what she went to grad school in (major wise) though...

Scouting article work[edit]

If you are getting this, it is because you do or did work on Scouting articles (see Wikipedia:WikiProject_Scouting#Participants_and_primary_areas_of_interest).

As the Scouting WikiProject has been formed since early January 2006, we've had many great improvements made in this area of Wiki and I want to personally thank everyone for their help. We don't always agree on things, but we keep moving forward. YIS, Rlevse 22:09, 25 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Strong Vincent Middle School a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. My apologies. I made the mistake of doing a "copy-and-paste" job when I created this page. Please delete, and move the reverted page: Strong Vincent High School to Strong Vincent Middle School.
