So, after I created the article for Mmm Papi, I started to think for a while, and realized that the song isn't notable enough, since it charted on a component chart that isn't active anymore. Do you reckon IASF is dark? I was thinking today that most of B'Day's songs are about dumping guys lol, while IASF and DIL are more of the "I'm in love" stuff. I want to add the certifications for HIAM but I don't know how to do it. It is already Platinum in Australia and Gold in Sweden. My problem is that I don't know how to add the refference for the Swedish certification. Lol, of course :) I totally like her 90s work more... I mean in all honesty, who doesn't? Thing is, people blame it on the music, genres etc. I blame it on that and her voice. I mean if Carey re-recorded Butterfly or Music Box in 2008, the album would not be the same, its also her voice not being as fresh. I mean on the song "Music Box", her voice is just wow. I wouldn't exactly call it a flop. It was only released digitally so far, in select places, and hasn't been sent to radio yet, or had a video release. I think album release week it will start doing better. She will probably perform it on Idol. yes Kev is probably able to do it. I agree completely Love? has been a long time coming but it could defo slay! it sounds immense. Bey is getting too cocky i think... Honestly, both E=MC2 and MOAIA were, forgive me, fucked, by several things. For E=MC2, the issue was the weak selection of singles. IMO, "Side Effects" should have been released as a second single, or even "Migrate". It needed a strong upbeat song that had a featured guest, not "Bye Bye" and its limited promo. It was way to slow for a second single. Also, Carey kind of abandoned promo for the album after her wedding, only a three weeks after its release. Next, Memoirs failed for many reasons. It had bad publicity because of the whole Eminem thing, it had very limited promo, the album was pushed back, "Obsessed" wasn't given an official release in several European countries, the worst possible choice as a second single, horrible third single, poor videos, late videos etc. can go on for hours lol. She needs some beefed up management. She needs a strong dancy-Euro song for her new album, to get her back into the scene. And MCIIY received almost no live promo at all again, so its limited success was understandable. As the era wore on, I had a whole promo schedule mapped out for her (which she never did), the first being a medley of "Oh Santa" and "AIWFCIY" on the AMAs in late-November, and a Christmas special on the UK X-Factor. Lol, I should be her promoter! Yes Jivesh, but I'll be honest, "Judas" will be helped by the video. probably a lot. You will see, it will jump on all Itunes charts. When you have a song that is doing pretty well, and has a very controversial video attached, it will get a big boost. Also, she has a lot of promo lined up for the song (Oprah tomorrow). And forgive me, but I find "Judas" to be a much better song than "Run the World". If I was you, I would try to fix those and then put it up at PR. Don't try to move too quickly, it's usually a mistake to try and rush to FAC. One other suggestion would be to have a look at User:Tony1/How to improve your writing and particularly the exercises. These are invaluable if you want to get articles to FA standard regularly, and show the level required. Heya Mags. I just noticed that prose issue on the FAC :( To be honest, I expected it at one point. The article did contain a lot of short and choppy sentences. And those sharks that are there, there are older and better writers that stay by the FAC, so unless prose are excellent, expect to be torn to shreds. Don't worry though, I have had at least 5 fall through also lol. We'll make up for it in GAs :). Wow, hahah that Rainbow album cover is hilarious. Its so poorly done. Yes that photo would be nice, but really what could we use it on? BTW, so when are you planning to commence work on Whitney Houston? Also, regarding "Irresistible", I would also suggest PR. If you put it up, I would gladly and harshly list all grammar issues I find, and highlight sentences that need fixing and suggestion.
