Hi, Safay. I wanted to thank you for the nice image you added of Ammonia tepida. Available protozoan images are relatively scarce, particularly live forams, and I think helps the article a fair bit. Josh

I'm sure we can work it out. - Samsara (talkcontribs) 19:52, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Absent editors[edit]

What you will encounter is that several editors who would like to participate in the editing of several pages are absent, and are waiting for the time that editing a page and discussing it can lead to consensus and building good pages. I for the moment spend my time at other places at the moment.... Just waiting for the ArbCom to act.... KimvdLinde 01:10, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I had the same reaction at first..... But I hope you can work with him, but I just wanted to make clear that many evolutionary biologist edotors are keeping all these articles at arm length for the time being..... KimvdLinde 18:43, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cladistics[edit]

Excellent contribution for the article, congratulations! Berton 00:40, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

First use of a tree to represent evolutionary history?[edit]

Hi,

You asked on this page whether anyone had come up with phylogenetic trees before Darwin. A biologist I know told me Ernst Haeckel actually introduced them, but I don't have a reference. If I can find anything, I'll add it here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.245.57.90 (talk) 17:57, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Zooxanthellae or Symbiodinium?[edit]

I see your note, "zooxanthellae is not the same as Symbiodinium", and I think you should go ahead and change the article per your suggestion. As written the article is entirely confusing. --Zeamays (talk) 03:38, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
