I don't disagree with your edit, but your edit summary was inappropriate. And according to the article itself and to other sources I've seen, wrong. Doug Weller (talk) 21:42, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

October 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CorbieVreccan. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Shanti Sena have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Facebook is not an appropriate link; your edit also added unsourced content, and a FB page is not an appropriate source for the content. - CorbieVreccan 18:51, 24 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:32, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Issue with student[edit]

Hi Sara,

A few of us have been dealing with an issue with one of your students User:Kiaana.pr who seems to insist on their page they are working on be in Mainspace.

We fixed the move the first time and we told the student not to move it again, however it seems they TOTALLY ignored the instruction and did it again.

Please can you speak to your student to resolve this issue, their draft is now located at Draft:Women's Participation in Bangladesh Politics

Thanks! - RichT|C|E-Mail 00:41, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm sorry that I did the same mistake again. I'm trying to resolve the issue and move my article to Mainspace. But I don't understand what's the wrong I did? I'm extremely sorry again for my work. Kiaana.pr (talk) 01:06, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Kiaana.pr: What you did wrong was trying to move it to mainspace again after being told not too - RichT|C|E-Mail 01:10, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why this article can't be moved to Mainspace? For clarification, what I need to do? Kiaana.pr (talk) 01:12, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the ping @Rich Smith. I've messaged with @Kiaana.pr and @Sara.koopman, and they'll be chatting to get on the same page and figure out what's the best path forward for Kiaana.pr. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:41, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Brianda, I'm sorry for the delay - we're in the semester crunch. I sat and looked this over and I'm wondering if some of the work Proma has done she could add to either the Women in Bangladesh page or the Gender inequality in Bangladesh page. She is a new Bangladeshi graduate student and I don't want her to get bummed out about all of this work she did never leaving the sandbox. If that is kosher with you I will coach her on how to do that. Sara.koopman (talk) 13:59, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes @Sara.koopman! That is the ideal way to go about this. I moved the page back to User:Kiaana.pr/Women's Participation in Bangladesh Politics. Some feedback for @Kiaana.pr:
  • I suggesting looking over the Words to watch page to help understand and see possible tone issues in your draft.
  • Punctuation goes before the inline citation, not after
  • Reminders: When you add content to an article, think about how they work with the rest of the text. When you add information, make sure that information isn't already presented somewhere else in the article. If you're replacing text, make sure you don't remove anything important (unless it's not accurate).
