November 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm SMcCandlish. I noticed that you recently removed content from Binomial nomenclature without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.

In particular, deleting massive amounts of sourced content from an article then blatantly lying about it with an edit summary of "Added content" as you did here is a good way to get blocked from editing as a vandal.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  20:54, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Classification, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.

As with the above issue, you removed material again without any explanation, including various templates, and then added unsourced claims. Wikipedia is not a blog where you can just publish whatever comes into your mind; reliable sources are required for our content.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  20:56, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
