In-line references support the text of an article and give source information proving the article is not 'Original Research' (see WP:OR).

Because the article your working on 'User:Somename somewhere/sandbox' does not yet have in-line cites..... it was a hint that they would be useful. Possibly I should have only mentioned (and pointed to) Wikipedia:Inline citation. Regards, Ariconte (talk) 00:12, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. The biographical part of it is actually based on interviewing this person (nothing has been published on his biography to this extend as far as I am aware). See Wikipedia:Citation templates and particularly Template:Cite book or use the editing tool:

There is a "Cite" toolbar at the top of the edit window which allows you to automatically generate the required wiki code.

You click one of the templates, e.g. "book", and fill in the details.
