Hi, I've cleaned this article up so that it looks a bit more the way people like them here. Feel free to add more information. If you know of other Nepalese artists, please do add their biographies because they seem to be underrepresented. Best wishes Reverse Gear 10:30, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add yourself or anyone else without a Wikipedia article to the Wikicalendar pages. To have an article, a person must meet the criteria outlined in WP:BIO. Thank you. Fabricationary 07:07, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Shameer Pradhan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Fabricationary 07:26, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please do the following:
  1. Place {{hangon}} on the page. Please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag(s).
  2. Make your case on the article's talk page.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Fabricationary 07:32, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. If you continue to remove them, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Zetawoof(ζ) 07:47, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Mark Radcliffe (filmmaker)) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Abt Template Newar

[edit]

Jwajalapa. I have reverted the edits that you have made in template Newar. I hate to do play this part, but someone has to do the job. The template is not meant to list Newar people. Rather, it is meant for navigation of entities pertaining to Newar civilization. The list does not include the most eminent of Newar people like Ganesh Man Singh, Dharma Bhakta Mathema, Gangalal Shrestha, Satya Narayan Bahadur Shrestha etc. or even artists like Amar Chitrakar, Krishna Gopal Ranjit, Asmina Ranjit, Madan Krishna Shrestha etc. for the same reason. I dont know much about Kalidas Shrestha. If he has contributed significantly to the Newar art, please place his name in the list. I think keeping Shrestha-Pradhan-Castaings family in the template in the absence of the above mentioned people is purely an outrage for Newar people and anyone wishing to know anything about Newar civilization, culture and Newa attitude of life. Also, please discuss in the template discussion page before making changes in the template, if possible. Thanks. --Eukesh 16:50, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kamala Memorial Community Service Center

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed maintenance notices from Kamala Memorial Community Service Center, even though required changes haven't been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you. --Rimshots 12:40, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Shrestha-Pradhan-Castaings family, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —Wknight94 (talk) 16:09, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Cratos.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Cratos.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 03:56, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
