It isn't simply a "Sister of Mercy school site" and you weren't just adding it to the Sister of Mercy page. It is some sort of community campaign site and you are using it to inject your POV into various politician pages. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a news site and not a collection of links. I don't think the majority of people who want to know about the Sisters of Mercy want to know about your community's campaign. The link adds nothing of relevance to the Sister of Mercy page. Whatever you wish to choose to believe is fine with me, however, you might want to get some facts straight: your statement that the Sisters of Mercy article does not refer to the Magdalene Laundries is blatantly false. There is a direct link under the "see also" section to our article on the laundries, also known as the Magdalen Asylums, and a statement that the Sisters of Mercy were involved with the laundries.
Each time you have posted on my talk page, you have criticised Wikipedia. I assume, given your negative opinion of the site, that you no longer wish us to host your outbound links to your campaign site. It would surely be hypocritical for someone with such a negative opinion of the site to expect us to provide free publicity and a massive web traffic boost. Sarah 12:07, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
