I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Hello,
Thank you for your note! I wrote the article because I found this tool really relevant for more knowledge about SVG animations and how to create them. There are very few articles related to this subject and I thought it might be helpful. As I am new to Wikipedia, I would like to know how the proofreading process is going and why the content is viewed as "Unambiguous advertising or promotion". Wikipedia is not a place to merely tell about something and its features- that is considered promotional here, you don't have to be soliciting or selling something. A Wikipedia article must primarily summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the topic, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability- perhaps in this case a notable product. Put another way, Wikipedia wants to know what outside sources consider to be important/significant/influential about a topic- not necessarily its features and routine activities(like the release of updates or new features unless independent sources consider that very significant). 331dot (talk) 09:56, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
