A tag has been placed on Safaba Translation Solutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. A tag has been placed on Safaba, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Proposed deletion of Safaba Translation Solutions[edit]

The article Safaba Translation Solutions has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This corporation is not notable yet. The references are not general, independent, sources and do not describe significant notice. Safaba is a CMU spinoff, and many references are tied to CMU. The Phase I and Phase II SBIR awards are narrow research grants. The SBIR program is a funding program for Small Business Innovation Research. The awards say NSF is giving it money to do research, but that does not describe an impact on the general public. The NYT blog is primarily about a different company and barely mentions Safaba in passing. The "new approach to statistical machine translation" is not described. WP:CORP and WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
