Hey there - sorry about the late reply. I have blocked that vandal for 24 hours :-) The best way to report a vandal who is active at the current time and has been warned is to do so at WP:AIV because lots of admins keep a close watch of that page. Dear Will, thank you for the discussion. This is not about Wiki disputes, this is about people's lives. The issue raised IS simple and obvious vandalism. Whatever the user has done before, this particular incident IS simple, because of policy 'WP:Verifiability#Sources' - "Academic and peer-reviewed publications are highly valued and usually the most reliable sources", and therefore the edit, just needs an immediate revert. This is URGENT, the other routes of ANI are lengthy processes and, from an ethical point of view, health professionals need the updated information IMMEDIATELY to diagnose and treat patients accurately, rather than misdiagnose patients with outdated information. No, this is not simple and obvious vandalism. Something that needs a long thread to explain isn't suitable for WP:AIV. That's not to cast any judgements on your dispute with DreamGuy, but WP:AIV certainly isn't the correct venue for them. I have given you a number of suggestions for better venues for discussion on your talk page. Vandal fighting question[edit]

Hi. Since you are an experienced vandalfighter, I would like to ask you how to define when to use an editing test note and when to use a vandalism note on user pages. I generally consider random insertion of characters or words to be editing tests and consider page blaking or insertion of vulgar comments to be vandalism. Well if this were a user account, I'd agree with you and I would certainly have indef blocked. However, IP addresses are often shared by multiple users and may also be dynamically assigned. Therefore, in the first instance, IP addresses are nearly always blocked for a period of 24 hours. Tîrgu Mureş[edit]

Hi,

I wish to move the Târgu Mureş page from Târgu Mureş category to Tîrgu Mureş category. Can I do this? And is risky? How can the redirects to be fixed? As I explained there .. Tîrgu Mureş is correct, that's how is written in ID cards, driving licenses, city hall, prefecture and "almost" every oficial place. Hey there. I don't know anything about the correct spelling myself I am afraid, but if there is a consensus to change the category name, the easiest way would be to create the new category with the correct name and then alter all the pages in the category so they appear in the one with the correct spelling. Luckily, as there do not appear to be too many pages in the category, this isn't as big a job as it otherwise might've been but it still means editing a fair few pages! Regards.
