Yacoub Shaheen[edit]

U should respect someone who is calling him or herself to a nation! Yacoub Shaheen calls himself Aramean, I even placed links of it of popular Dutch news-websites? Are we seriously that childish to change it every time? Do I seriously need to give u the links where he sings ' I am an Aramean and my language is Aramaic ' People like u are the reason why Wikipedia is a page that doesn't have the right information.

Hi H0llande I have no problem with the Armenians even me I have roots Armenian/Syriac form my mother but Wikipedia has rules and laws and Wikipedia is not a forum like Mohammed Assaf is a Palestinian singer... Just without the Arab origin or from an Arab tribe, that shouldn't be in the article's introduction. I've created this article. Ethnicity shouldn't be in the article's introduction but in the section "Biography" I've added this in section please read MOS:BLPLEAD
  • Context
The opening paragraph should usually provide context. In most modern-day cases this will mean the country of which the person is a citizen, national or permanent resident, or if the person is notable mainly for past events, the country where the person was a citizen, national or permanent resident when the person became notable. Ethnicity, religion, or sexuality should generally not be in the lead unless it is relevant to the subject's notability. Similarly, previous nationalities or the country of birth should not be mentioned in the lead unless they are relevant to the subject's notability.. A tag has been placed on Category:Palestinian oud players requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
