Vardar Macedonia (Macedonian: Вардарска Македонија, Serbian: Вардарска Македонија/Vardarska Makedonija) or Serbian Macedonia (Српска Македонија/Srpska Makedonija) was the name of a territory in the Kingdom of Serbia and Kingdom of Yugoslavia, roughly corresponding to today's Republic of Macedonia (northern part of geographical Macedonia). It usually refers to the part of the Macedonia region attributed to the Kingdom of Serbia by the Treaty of Bucharest (1913), alongside Old Serbia. It is named after the Vardar, the major river in the area.
