OriginalCharles Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord (1754–1838), a French bishop and politician. He served as Napoleon's chief diplomat, but worked for peace and later oversaw the return of Napoleon's conquests. He was an important part of the Congress of Vienna which ended the wars, and later served as Prime Minister of France.
