- Aditya Mani Tripathi - that everybody in Milkipur may know who he was, isn't really the point and the majority of readers aren't going to go and ask. You need to show his Notability by referencing significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of him. - Thatguy1987 - Just as an observation, although Worldbruce is quite right that you've gone a bit OTT on the citations, it's a terrifically well-structured article for a relatively new editor. When I saw it initially, I thought it must be a lift it was so well done. But I'm just a cynic. Many congrat.s. KJP1 - thank you so much for your kind words! I really took my time with putting this together. I just cleaned up all of the citation overkill as well. Hopefully that did the trick. Looking forward to seeing if it will be accepted to the mains pace. It is not a question of the length of the draft compared to the length of any particular article (see also WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS), it is a question of whether the subject meets WP:NFOOTBALL. FC Porto ≠ FC Porto B ≠ FC Porto Juniors ≠ FC Porto Veteranos. The draft doesn't make clear in what league FC Porto Veteranos plays. If they play in Primeira Liga or LigaPro, then after he has played in a competitive game against another team in the league, he will be notable. --Worldbruce (talk) 17:55, 10 March 2018 (UTC)

Trying again...I would like to understand the criteria for the non-US leagues listed in WP:NHOOPS #1: "...the original American Basketball Association, Liga ACB, EuroLeague, National Basketball Association, National Basketball League (Australia), National Basketball League (United States), Lega Basket Serie A, Women's National Basketball Association, Greek Basket League, Israeli Basketball Premier League, ABA League (and its predecessor the Yugoslav Basketball League), or the VTB United League (and its predecessors the USSR Premier Basketball League and the Russian Professional Basketball Championship)." Does the non-US league need to apply to make this list or what? Thanks You.

- Hi Rjstephan WP. If you feel the Japanese B.League should be on that list, the place to propose a change in the guideline is Wikipedia talk:Notability (sports). Here at Articles for creation, notability guidelines are only applied, not modified. One of the more recent proposals to broaden notability for basketball players was Wikipedia talk:Notability (sports)/Archive 28#Adding Philippine Basketball Association to WP:NBASKETBALL?, which did not result in a change. --Worldbruce (talk) 07:30, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
