Yao-Hsun Yang (born January 22, 1983 in Taitung City, Taiwan) is a Taiwanese professional baseball pitcher in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.He has played in Nippon Professional Baseball pitcher for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. Yang competed for Chinese Taipei in the 2006 and 2013 World Baseball Classic.[1]

Yang is a 5 ft 10 in, 215 lb left-handed pitcher. he throws a low 90s fastball, along with a slider, curveball, and a splitter. He mostly uses his fastball-slider combination in games.[2]
