Who Am I?

My name is Keakealani. I live in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am something of a newcomer to Wikipedia as an editor, although a long-time user. I've created only the HYOC article (mostly as an experiment), but I run in frequently to correct minor grammar errors and I intend to go in for more major edits as I become more comfortable with editing. I am extremely interested in music theory, and I have been reading the articles here extensively. I am also moderately interested in anime and manga (mostly manga) and Japanese art styles. Lastly, I my extended goal is to present an article on Hawaii or some aspect of Hawaiian history/culture/mythology on Wikipedia that is at least moderately close to featured status.

I'm thinking about possibly going into editing as a profession, and of course what better place to start than somewhere where you can have your mistakes reverted in minutes! XD I do hope to improve my style and contribute something meaningful. At the very least, I genuinely want to help out, so hopefully I will be able to do that.

If I do make a mistake (which is likely, because I'm a slow learner), please leave me a note on my Talk Page (add a comment there now!) so that I can correct my mistake in the future. Be sure to let me know if you are ever dissatisfied with my edits. I genuinely want to help out and I'm merely hoping that I am doing everything correctly. I have been trying to read up on policies and whatnot, but, like any newbie, I'm prone to blunder, and it would be most appreciated if you could help me out ^^
