The area had been part of the [[Holy Roman Empire]] ([[Duchy of Pomerania]]) since the 12th century, from 1648 to 1945 part of [[Prussia]] and [[Germany]]. Łódki [ˈwutki] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Smołdzino, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south-west of Smołdzino, 19 km (12 mi) north of Słupsk, and 103 km (64 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
