Tyler Morris (born November 18, 2003) is an American football wide receiver for the Michigan Wolverines. In 2023, as a sophomore, Morris helped Michigan win a national championship.[1][2]
Early years and high school
Morris was born in 2003 in Bolingbrook, Illinois. He attended Nazareth Academy in La Grange Park, Illinois, where he was high school teammates with J. J. McCarthy.[3] McCarthy and Morris connected for 68 receptions, 1,237 yards, and 17 touchdowns in Morris’ sophomore season of 2019.[4]
Morris missed his junior season due to covid-19, and tore his ACL in the spring of 2021, missing his entire senior season.[5] He was a four star recruit, rated as the #18 wide receiver and the #104 overall prospect in the nation in 2022.[4]
