Personal history

Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii is the largest military hospital in the Asian and Pacific Rim region, and the only United Nations Peace Operations Institute in the United States.

Audrey Elizabeth Smith was born on 28 May,1980 to Dr. Steven and Jan Smith in Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu,Hawaii. Dr. Steven Smith MD was in his medical residency as a general surgeon in the United States Army when Smith was born. Smith's mother is currently a special needs teacher in the Jordan School District. Smith was raised as self-proclaimed "army brat", she has lived all over the world including Hawaii, Minnesota, Washington, Germany before her family moved to Utah.

Awards

in 1997 Smtih was elected and won Girls State which forwarded her to Girls Nation in which she met with President then Bill Clinton and Hilary Clinton. She also met other notable people including Al Gore and reporter.

Education

From 1998 to 2002 Smith went to [Wellesley College] in Wellesley, Massachusetts (13 miles west of Boston) and received a bachelors degree in American Studies. Many similarities have been found between her and "Jo" in Little Women. She also has made several vehement vows of independence.

On December 4, 2007, on The Oprah Winfrey Show Audrey was featured as a guest as part of the More with Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia (Viking, 2006). (Season 22, Episode 70)
