Simple denial is insufficient. You need to address the overlap in editing. Yamla (talk) 12:26, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

As I stated previously, I have made edits outside of the company MMP, including on Trinity Laban and Steinway. When I discovered MMP on Instagram, and saw it wasn’t on Wikipedia, I saw an opportunity to contribute, and I have spent many hours doing so. MMP deserves to be here, as they publish sheet music by notable people, in the same way Faber Music, Carus-Verlag and many, many others. If they don’t belong, nor do many more pages, including the company I mentioned. I contributed in helping Wikipedia contain up to date information about the modern classical music niche. When an article does not exist on Wikipedia, the message welcoming ones to contribute was very friendly, I was not aware that behind the scenes Wikipedia is such a hustle place, where editors such as Smerus (who maintains a page about himself -yes declared- and also his late sister -not declared) are so vile, condescending and patronising to contributors. Why should anyone give there time freely to try and improve Wikipedia’s information if they are treated so appallingly? I now sincerely regret, one the time I put into this platform, and the donations I made. Keep me blocked if you like, but please, in the words of Caroline Flack, be kind. The world is a sucky place, especially at the moment, and unappreciative, condescending keyboard warriors are just adding to negativity. Perhaps other administrators can see this, so they understand the experience some contributors have, and the condescending nature of some of its admins - (list of administrators redacted to prevent further pings; see page history for list) (talk) 13:04, 20 May 2020 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yunshui  14:03, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In what way does this not address the reason for my blocking?

Am I right in saying that unless I write on a variety of pages I am not welcome on Wikipedia? What about people specialising in topics? Cabin2015 (talk)

Decline reason:

Undisclosed paid editing and sock puppetry are what got you blocked, not being a single-purpose editor. This unblock request once again does not address either issue. In particular, Master Music Publications said that Nicholas McCarthy's arrangements were published by MMP cited to MMP's website, and then you helpfully added a list of arrangements, again cited to MMP's website. Cited their website as that was an official reference. Glad you found the list of compositions helpful. :) oh and I wish I was paid by and affiliated with the company!.
